Annastella Gibboni

Born in Oliveto Citra (SA) in 1999, she began studying the violin at the age of 4 with her father, Daniele. After graduating with honors and distinction from the Martucci Conservatory in Salerno, she furthered her studies with masters such as Salvatore Accardo, Pavel Berman, and Sonig Tchakerian at the Stauffer, Perosi, and Santa Cecilia Academies. She has won numerous national and international competitions, including the “Claudio Scimone-Pancolini,” the “Dinu Lipatti,” and the Diapason d’Oro.

She has performed in prestigious Italian and international theaters, often in a duo with her sister Donatella, and has also collaborated with civil and moral institutions. She has participated in television broadcasts on Rai, Mediaset, and TV2000.

A teacher since 2020, she currently holds the violin professorship at the “C.G. da Venosa” Conservatory in Potenza. She plays a Cremonese Pedota violin and a Paolo De Barbieri from 1942, granted to her by the Monzino Foundation.
